Use a wireless mouse

Your mouse is one of the most important bits of gear you need to use as a computer owner. In years gone by, a mouse would need to be plugged in via a USB cord. Nowadays, you can use a wireless mouse and do away with that annoying cable. It means you have a much better user experience, and you remove the annoyance of too many wires. You can also invest in a wireless keyboard for exactly the same reason – although probably not required if you have a laptop.

Charge your phone

If you need to juice up your smartphone while you work, you can always plug it into your computer and use the power from your machine. This is useful if you are working in a public space with your laptop, and you don’t have access to a power source. This great tip means you can keep your phone fully charged while being able to work at the same time. Put your phone on Airplane mode to ensure it charges up quicker.

Hotspot your phone

No internet? No worries! Simply turn your phone into a hotspot and you’ll be able to continue using your computer or laptop wherever you are. This is especially helpful if you want to be able to catch up on work while you’re on the train.
